During a Session

During a Session - You will lie fully clothed with shoes removed on a treatment table. I provide bolsters and pillows for added comfort. Most sessions do not require any physical touch. However, depending on the type of session, weighted forks may be gently placed upon the body. The process is primarily non-invasive and interacts with your biofield—the energetic field that surrounds your body. Your energetic field interacts with the frequencies of the tuning forks, which can often be felt within the body. Each tuning fork has its own frequency (Hz), and the sounds and vibrations vary. When I strike an unweighted fork, it produces a sound, and areas that hold energy may manifest as a change in tone or vibration. I can often feel and identify areas that require attention. Hydration is Important Energy work can be thirsty work. Please ensure that you come to the session hydrated, and feel free to drink water as needed throughout the session. Your Role During the Session Breathing: Maintain steady breathing. Holding your breath is like holding onto energy, while deep, steady breathing helps facilitate energetic flow. You may hear me breathing deeply and exhaling, as I find it assists in shifting energy. I may gently prompt you to take deep breaths if needed. Awareness: Stay aware of your body and notice any sensations or messages your body and energy field are communicating. Openness and awareness of how your body is responding enhances the session and helps guide us to areas that need attention. Engagement: You are welcome to remain silent, but sharing any thoughts that come to mind or your awareness of bodily sensations can often lead to a more significant outcome. Sharing thoughts creates space for clarity and insight, and helps me provide better support. If you prefer silence or do not wish to talk, please let me know. You may also choose to wear noise-canceling headphones or listen to music—this is your session, and I aim to support your needs. Movement: Feel free to move or adjust your position at any time. You may also request a break if needed. Moving or taking breaks will not affect the session’s outcome. In fact, responding to your body’s needs can enhance the experience. What You May Experience During a Session During the session, you may experience sensations such as tingling throughout the body, areas of warmth, muscle relaxation, yawning, snoring (from throat relaxation), thirst, a need to use the bathroom, or a desire to stretch or move. Some clients fall asleep during the session due to its deeply relaxing effects. If you do fall asleep, I will continue the session. All of these experiences are signs of energy moving and expressing itself. It's important to listen to your body’s needs. Interruptions, breaks, and movement do not negatively impact the session. In fact, the more you tune into what your body is communicating, the more beneficial the session will be. After the Session Once the session is complete, I will gently advise you to take your time getting up from the treatment table. Be kind to yourself and remain aware of your body’s needs. You may feel the need for a good stretch. Drink plenty of water after the session. Water is an essential energetic conductor, crucial for health and vitality. It helps reduce lactic acid buildup and supports the flushing of toxins from your system. Potential Post-Session Detox Tuning fork sessions may induce mild detox symptoms, such as flu-like symptoms.
